2018 Marching Band Registration Due Friday

Registration for the 2018 marching band season must be completed by this Friday, April 13. Students can start the registration process at registermyathlete.com.

The schedule for the coming year has been updated on thunderband.com. Additional details will be added to the schedule as they are available.


2018 Marching Band Leadership Applications and Interviews Due Friday

Mr. Brady will be holding interviews for band leadership applicants on Thursday and Friday after school. To sign up, go to https://goo.gl/forms/aANhJOrm7fC2RC3K2.

For more information on the leadership application process, watch Mr. Brady’s video on Facebook. Applications and interviews must be completed by this Friday, April 13.


Clothing Drive Fundraiser This Saturday

The final clothing drive drop-off is this Saturday, April 14 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We hope you have been gathering clothing, shoes, hats, bags, and coats in 30-gallon black garbage bags! This is our major fundraiser for the season. Funds will be used for competition food and other equipment needed for the upcoming season.

We will need lots of help Saturday morning to help load the trailer. To sign up to help, go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e44a9ad28a75-2018.

Students will receive a ticket for a drawing for every 25 bags of clothing donated. The student with the highest number of FULL, black, 30 gallon bags will receive $100 credit towards their fees. Contact your neighbor, contact your school (lost and found), and gather those last items of clothing for Saturday!


Meet Mr. Brady and Booster Meeting Tomorrow

Our next booster meeting is Wednesday, April 11, at 7:30 PM in the band room. Before the meeting, we will have an opportunity for parents and students to meet Mr. Brady and his family beginning at 6:00 PM.


Leadership Service Project Opportunities

There will be a service project opportunity TODAY (April 10) from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM to clean and organize the storage pod. Students who want to help with this should email Charlotte Ducos at cdducos@gmail.com.

The final group service project that will be offered for leadership applicants is on Saturday, April 14, for the clothing drive. Those who wish to help with that service project need to contact Sharon Mardesich at smardesich@alpinedistrict.org.


2018-2019 Ensemble Auditions

Materials for ensemble auditions will be distributed later this month. For now, students should sign up for the ensembles that they think they might be in. Sophomores should sign up for Concert Band.
