There are 128 days until the 2018 Rose Parade. Rose Parade fun fact of the week: The first couple of Rose Parade queens not only had to sew their own dresses, but they also had to make and decorate their own floats!

Rose Parade Family Packages
Bob Rogers Travel has added a new Rose Parade package that includes only grandstand seats and bandfest tickets. This package provides an option for family members who want Rose Parade tickets without Disney tickets.
If you do not want Disney tickets, you will need to make the change to your account by logging in at ips.bobrogerstravel.com and selecting this new package without Disney tickets. If you have any questions, contact Bob Rogers Travel at 800-373-1423.
Booster Meeting Schedule
Due to Wednesday evening rehearsals, we are rescheduling booster meetings in September and October. September’s meeting will be held on Thursday, September 7, and October’s meeting will be held on Thursday, October 5. Booster meetings start at 7:30 PM in the band room.
In November, our meeting will be on Wednesday, November 8, in order to allow parents and students to prepare for our St. George trip on November 1. In December, we will return to our regularly scheduled first week of the month with a meeting on December 6 at 7:30 pm.
Prop Tear-Down
Thank you to Danielle and Andy Lovejoy, Kelly Molinari, Carla Stone, and Dave Duke, who came out to our prop tear-down on Saturday. They worked hard to clean out our old props so we could make room for our new props to come in this week.
Fee and Form Due Dates
All fees and forms are now past due. In order to rehearse and perform with the band, these items must be taken care of or arrangements must be made with Mr. Mangelson at bmangelson@alpinedistrict.org.
Emails have gone out to those with outstanding fees. Please get these fees paid as soon as possible. If there is a concern about getting fees paid please contact Mr. Mangelson.
Once fees are paid please email your receipt to Shawna at sivins4@gmail.com. Receipts for color guard shoes should also be sent to christie.wallace27@gmail.com.
